TANK RESTORATION
Full tank restorations range from $325 to $650.
We currently restore roughly 200 tanks annually. We can repair most dents, pinholes, brackets, and fuel cap restoration.
Our basic process includes stripping tanks to bare metal to assess any underlying damage. Once stripped we then repair any pinholes by braising with a lead/solder process. If pinholes are found it is highly recommended that we go through an acid cleaning process on interior and lining. We only use Caswell products for interior lining. We then remove any dents with dent removal tools from inside to avoid using as much filler as possible. Once dents are removed we start the body work process using only Rage filler and PPG paint products for primer and painting. We then offer a full line of Blueline Decals to finish off your tank. We can do custom colors with paint and decals.
We can ship tanks anywhere in the US.
